KS3 homework

Your child should expect to spend approximately 20–30 minutes completing homework per subject per week (English, Maths and Science).

To support students in Year 7, 8 and 9 manage their time and be successful, homework will be set on the following days:

Day homework is due	Monday	Tuesday	Wednesday
Homework detention	Tuesday	Wednesday	Thursday

Students have a seven-day completion window for each homework task and will have access to optional lunchtime and after-school homework clubs which they can use to help them complete their homework.  Homework completion windows will be extended to account for half-term, Christmas and Easter holidays.

If a student does not complete their homework or submit their homework on time, they will receive an email notification and your child will be expected to attend a homework detention in the library 3:15pm - 4:00pm.

KS4 homework

Your child should expect to spend approximately 40–60 minutes completing homework per subject per week. Students have a seven-day completion window for each homework task and will have access to optional working lunches and after-school champions hour which they can use to help them complete their homework.

To support students in Year 10 and Year 11 managing their time and being successful, homework will be set on the following days:
