Alongside academic focus, there has been a strong emphasis on enrichment and reward systems. "Fun Fridays" are being accessed by many of our students and the feedback is encouraging.

A variety of extracurricular events and achievements also took place this half-term, including school dance competitions in Bath, participation in the UK Maths Challenges and a full schedule of competitive Sports Fixtures.

Next half-term will feature a comprehensive focus on careers and future planning, providing students with valuable external insights such as Year 10 work experience and some workshops for our Year 9s.

This half-term has clearly demonstrated the energy, commitment, and positive spirit that defines the Barnwood Park community, and we look forward to continuing this progress next term.

Reminder

Please find below an important safety reminder regarding parking outside the school premises during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times.

The school has recently observed an increase in congested traffic and inconsiderate parking. To mitigate risks to our pupils, we ask all parents and carers to observe the following protocols:

• Do not stop or park on restricted yellow lines or zigzag zones.

• Avoid blocking the driveways or access points of our local residents.

• Ensure children only exit vehicles when parked safely and legally at the curbside.
