Term 1 2025
Dear families, As we reach the end of this half-term, there is lots to reflect on. Firstly, we are so proud of the way that our Year 11s have conducted themselves before, during and after their PPEs. These examinations are so important in preparing our Year 11s for the real thing, and Mrs Aboud w...

Star Students of the Term

Year 7 - Faith Stockford
Faith has settled well into Barnwood Park and Year 7. She shows great resilience in everything that she does. She is working well in lessons, is focussed and will attempt everything to the best of her ability. She is a kind and polite young lady who will always say hello and thank you - she makes a point of coming to see me every day to say good morning and her attendance is over 95%. I am proud of the way that Faith has settled into school and how well she is working.

Year 8 - Abigail Barkle
Abi is an inspirational student. She has 100% attendance. She is always positive and polite. She works hard and contributes to every lesson and gives 100% in all she does. Well done Abi!

Year 9 - Josh Bird
Josh has had an excellent start to year 9, he is a great student who is always enthusiastic about all aspects of school life. He has 100% attendance and the most house points in the whole school, well done Josh!

Year 10 - Georgie Norris
Georgie is a truly outstanding student and an absolute joy to teach. Her dedication, positivity, and kindness shines through in everything she does. She has earned the highest number of house points in Year 10 so far this year — a reflection of her hard work, enthusiasm, and commitment to excellence.  Always  willing to try anything, Georgie approaches every challenge with positivity. She is exceptionally supportive of her peers, particularly in Performing Arts, where her talent and encouragement shine both in class and in extracurricular clubs. Hearing Georgie sing and watching her perform never fails to bring a smile to everyone around her.

Year 11 - Layla Huntley
Layla has 100% Attendance. She is committed in both her lessons and to the Year 11 offer. What a fantastic start to the year. Well done Layla!
